After having worked in IT and tech support for nearly 20 years I was laid off from a job for the first time. This got me thinking. Could I use my experience to become my own boss? Was there even a market for IT services in the area? The answer to both was yes!
My career has given me the opportunity to experience many aspects of the IT world. I have worked for, and with, large multinational companies as well as small local companies. I have worked with many different technologies from Microsoft Windows and Linux based systems to on-premise and cloud based VoIP telephone systems. On two different occasions I was fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to lead a support team.
My goal is to take the experience I’ve gained over the years and provide high quality solutions and service to clients in Southwestern Nova Scotia and beyond. Excellent customer service and deep understanding of the needs and challenges that my clients face on a daily basis in their own businesses is key to achieving this.
By working as a partner with my clients, rather than just another vendor I can help clients streamline their business processes and can help lower the cost of doing business over time.
